Hi, I have a backup of a previous bookmarks. When trying to import the app told me was unable to import from earlier version. It's there a was to import or extract the data form the backup to do it manually?

It will warn you about importing from a previous version, since there may be a schema mismatch, but it should allow you to proceed and continue anyway. Is that not the case? If so, please contact me using the contact form as it may be a bug.

So I see a PowerShell manager; otherwise, it looks like it's not functionally divergent from the older version. How would us users best leverage that PowerShell manager? I've also been looking into using Chocolatey for package deployment, which is tied in with Nuget & PowerShell: maybe that's something you can look into for remote software deployment? I found https://www.avianwaves.com/Blog/ArticleID/1205/30-is-c#c597 with your initial plans for having Free+Paid versions: any update on that?

PowerShell integration allows you to run scripts inline with RD Tabs events. There is also integration into RD Tabs itself. One example I use it for is to automatically launch my VPN when logging into hosts that require a VPN. There will be more features added eventually that allow you to manipulate Favorites and really almost anything in the app, so it's the integrated scripting language for writing plugins or other enhancements. This is just the first release of features.

There's a lot of under the hood improvements, but it's not extremely different from previous versions. There are a lot of changes though. Check out the forums or the "changelog.txt" file for a full list of changes. The help file has also been updated with all features.

I just very recently got ownership of the Chocolatey package. It was previously being updated by somebody else. When I release the first non-beta version, the Chocolatey package as well as the internal updater will be set to download it. Right now 3.0.6 is opt-in only.

Paid features will be coming starting with the next major release (3.1). It will only have 2-3 paid features, not a big amount, but the price will reflect that. Going forward more features will be added, both paid and free, and as the list grow, the price will increase to the normal amount. The release cadence will probably be like 3-4 months between major versions as I adopt a more incremental and agile approach, with bug fixes and very minor features being introduced between major versions.
