I just upgraded to v2.0.10, and I still can not open multiple instances of RDTabs. I have once again uninstalled and reinstalled v1.1.4 in order to achieve this functionality.
I have a dual monitor setup, and I need several RD sessions on each monitor. Not being able to have multiple instances renders v2 useless for me. :(
As much as I like v1.1.4, I would further enjoy the features added in v2, especially the screenshot feature.
Is there anything I can do to get multiple instances? I imagine that it is coded specifically not to allow this.

I'm sorry this has affected you so adversely! RD Tabs 2.0 is a "single instance" application by design to allow for complex scripting behavior by invoking command line arguments (among other things).

In version 2.x, you can "detach" individual tabs so that they float around in their own window (and then you can move them to any monitor you want). The ability to detach an entire tab pane is something I have planned (so that you can have "tabs" in your floating window) but is not currently on the Road Map (ie, not planned before 3.1). However, since you have requested it, I will expedite this behavior. I'll try to squeeze it into 2.1, but it may be 2.2 before it is out. This would effectively give you the feature you want.
