connect to console does not work

Hi,

I am using RD Tabs 2.0.14 and I have created a session that is supposed to connect to the console but doesn't. I am using Vista Enterprise SP1

It works correctly on Vista Enterprise, no service packs.

Does it perhaps have something to do with Microsoft dropping support for the /console switch on mstsc? That switch has been replaced by /admin

Yes, that is exactly why. Vista's Service Pack 1 breaks that functionality in old RDP clients (thanks, Microsoft).

RD Tabs 2.1 will address this issue. It should be released shortly as a "stable" product. Until then, the Release Candidate (which is actually very stable) is available for download. There are links in this forum.
