Is there a way to preserve the 'Computer' field for each favorite after batch editing Logon information?
If I update logon information for all favorites under a folder, it wipes out whatever was in the 'Computer' field, for all of the favorites in that folder. It does warn me that it will overwrite everything on the Logon tab for each favorite in the selected folder, but I dont want it to wipe out the computer name on all of my favorites, or else I have to go copy/paste from the Display name, and possibly modify the computer name after that to make it connect to the correct host. The 'sync' button simply copies the computer to the display name, so really there's no fast way to get the computer name back after editing login information.
Let me know if what I'm saying makes sense, this is more of an annoyance than a bug I guess. It seems to be working the way its intended so that's why I posted here in suggestions. Thanks!

Only check the parameters you want to change. It sounds like you are checking the entire "Logon" box in the batch editor, so that will overwrite every field in the logon page (except Display Name since that's part of the "Primary Key" for favorites). What you want to do is expand the Logon tree and only select Username and Password. -- Or perhaps only password. 🙂 Each parameter can be individually selected for the most granularity possible when batch editing.

LOL Helpdesk! we have a problem! You know, I overlooked that little + next to Logon on the left side about 10 times and still didn't see it. I just needed to expand it to see the individual selections. Thanks for clearing that up.
I must be working too much lately or something..
