There have been several times when I wished I could change the name of an open tab, just for the duration of the current session.

Reason: Sometimes it is very handy to open two or more tabs with separate connections to the same location -- to have extra sessions of an application, for example. I open the sessions by making a pick from my Favorites. Once the tabs are open, though, I have to remember by position what each one is for, since the tab labels are the same. So, it would be handy to be able to change the tab names on-the-fly to make them easier to track. I would only want the changes to apply to the current connections, though, so I don't mess up my Favorites.

Is this already possible? If so, I haven't been able to figure out how to do it. If not, could it be added to a future version? I suspect there are other users who would also find this useful.

Sorry, never mind. I found it.

Choose the tab, click on the "Connected" control, and choose "Change Display Name". Simple!
